Hi everyone! I keep getting asked questions like, ‘Why so many papercraft posts? Have you given up crochet?’

The answer is… crochet is coming! In the video above I explain what’s happening and why there are a lot of tutorials and posts on other crafts right now. The short version is… when I create a new crochet pattern it can take months, sometimes a whole year, to get it made, tested, written down, then tested by others, correct mistakes, retest, etc. Added to that is the fact that the wonderful women who test for me are all volunteers and so the whole process can take time.

In the meantime, I also play with other crafts. I fell down the Papercraft rabbit hole at the start of the global pandemic and love the artiness of it. Then, because my day job is being a Professor, teaching is a integral part of who I am. So when I learn new things or create new designs, I love to share it!

So yes, the crochet patterns are coming. There are several in the works now and one really easy one that will be released any day now. But in the meantime, there’s other posts too.

I set the website up so you can go to your area of interest and just see the blog posts related to that. There are also search functions you can use to find just what you’re looking for.

So thank you all for the love and support. Keep checking back here for new posts, or better yet, subscribe to the blog so you get an email alert when something new is posted! If you like what you see here, and on the Drunk Dog Creative socials and YouTube, then let your friends know and encourage them to subscribe too!

Have a happy crafty day!

Love,

Bridget A
