A Mini Tutorial

I often include gift cards, little pull out notes, or even money in my handmade cards. I figured out how to make a little pouch to hold these things that can be affixed to the inside of a handmade card. Recently I released a tutorial on how to make the Tower Fun Fold Card and included a longer, slower, version of this tutorial in that video.

However, I thought it would be good to do a quick, standalone tutorial on this pouch for those who just want to add this to a card and not go through the whole Tower Fun Fold tutorial. 🙂

So if you have a spare 90 seconds…. here is how to do it!

Written Instructions

Cut and Score:

1. Cut a piece of DSP to 85 x 150mm (3.5″ x 6″)
2. Score at 10mm (0.25″) along each long edge
3. Score at 68mm (2.75″) across the DSP.

4. Cut out the rectangle pieces on the longer side of the DSP (see photo with black-out areas). Cut the pieces out just a tiny bit on the outside of the score lines.
5. Fold along the middle score line.
6. Put adhesive on the two side flaps, fold them over the back of the pouch and press them down.
7. Put adhesive on the back of the pouch and affix to the card.
