Sneak Peek, Product News, & Why I haven’t posted much lately…
There’s a few things covered here: A sneak peek video of some of the products from the upcoming 2026 January-April Mini Catalogue from Stampin’ Up!, Information about the December Product of the Month, and a reminder about Last Chance products (hint: new stuff has been added!). I’m also going to explain why I haven’t been doing tutorials lately.

I know, I know… it’s coming up to Christmas and usually at this time of year my blog and socials are FULL of cardmaking tutorials. So what happened this year? Unfortunately, I got diagnosed with thyroid cancer in September. In early October I had surgery to remove half of my thyroid. The great news is, they got it all with clean margins and I got to keep the other 1/2 of my thyroid! Yay! The not so great news is that the recurrent laryngeal nerve – which is the nerve that makes your vocal chords work – got stretched. So… I have no voice. It is really hard to do video tutorials when it sounds like you’re sucking on helium balloons before talking, and you have to pause to draw breath every few words. Really not helpful for tutorials, or for my day job as a Professor! The drunk dog hound pack are loving it though…. I can’t yell at them for anything! Though they have been great nurses for me!

The recovery is taking longer than expected but I’ve been assured that my voice will return and the fatigue will lift within another 4 months.

Until I get my voice back, tutorials will be either in the format of a YouTube short (with written instructions here on the blog) without narration, or a written tutorial without video. That said, the fatigue is still an issue as well so until that lifts, content might be limited as I still have to work full time.

I appreciate your patience with me until I am 100% back on my feet, and will gratefully accept prayers and good wishes for speedy healing. 🙂

Now on to the exciting part….. the January-April Mini Catalogue is almost here!

Here is a sneak peek at a couple of products I ordered from the upcoming 2026 January – April Mini Catalogue. The stamps and dies are now starting to arrive in the new packaging format – the folder for the stamps is the same size as the one for the dies, making it easier to store them together. They take up a LOT less room on your shelves than the previous packaging. I have a huge wish list of goodies I want to get from the new catalog but got just one stamp/die bundle and one collection of Designer Series Paper (DSP)/Sticker Sheet for this order. I’m still attempting to learn scrapbooking and couldn’t go past these items for both cardmaking and scrapbooking!

Check them out in the video below (and have a good laugh at my voice!)

A digital version of the catalogue will be available on this blog to download from 4th January 2026. If you want a hardcopy of the catalogue, please contact me HERE.

The December Product of the Month is here!

Another exciting new development at Stampin’ Up! is the Product of the Month. Starting NOW … each month SU will release a special Product of the Month that you can purchase for only $9 AUD when you spend $125 AUD or more in one transaction! This month it is the Blue Florals DSP – how beautiful is this! The POTM is ONLY available while stocks last so get in early!!!

Last Chance Products!

Did you know that there is a “Last Chance Products” section on the Stampin’ Up! Website? This is where retiring products go to find their forever homes. If you’ve had your eye on something for a while, check and see if it has ended up here. If it has… GRAB IT! Because when it’s gone, it’s gone forever! You might even find some real bargains here. A bunch of prodcuts have just been recently added to the Last Chance category so go take a look now!
