I am a maker. I make things for the joy of creating them. Occasionally I sell items I’ve made on platforms like Etsy and while patterns on this website are always free, pdf versions can be purchased from Ravelry. I am also an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin’ Up! and have links to that shop on this site. I am not an ‘influencer’ and do not receive money or in-kind products from anyone. I share my love for crafting and my knowledge because, at heart, I am a teacher and believe creativity should be accessible to all.
The great news is… all purchases of Drunk Dog Creative items, including pdf’s of patterns, or from my Stampin’ Up! store, supports Dachshund Rescue Australia (DRA). I make donations of a healthy chunk of profits to them.
Dachsund Rescue Australia is an amazing charity that does great work finding perfect homes for dachshunds in need. I got my first dachshund – a standard short hair named Jerry – from them over 20 years ago. I’ve had dachshunds ever since and almost all have been rescues or adoptions. Hugo, the chocolate and tan boy on the right in the photo, is the most recent addition to our family from DRA. It took nearly a year to help Hugo understand what it is like to be a loved and adored pet. These dogs deserve good homes and I am a big fan of the work DRA does to ensure that happens.
